"Sunsets in the Forest" BOOK COVER

Designed for a story idea I have, the first series of images are of a cover of a children's book. I made the cover using my own art (a Photoshop painting), copy and text, and layout. "Sunsets in the Forest" is a children's novel and exercise in evoking a mysterious tone with color and style.

MATCHED MONSTER BOOK COVER SET

This was for an assignment to completely redesign covers for a series of unrelated books and make them look unified. I chose three books on magic and monsters. They have different audiences and tones, so I tried to preserve their differences with color while still uniting them visually. My simple digital designs emphasize the cut paper details that reveal the monster on each cover.
